As the high school season continues we remain on the lookout for a featured high school game to cover each week; a game that you chose. Last week we covered the New Britain girls soccer team because the captain dropped us an email. This week, thanks to another great email, we'll be at the Rocky Hill girls volleyball match at Tolland on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Here's the email sent to us by sophomore Emma Skulety making a pitch to get some coverage for her team. Thanks to her, that's just what the Terriers are getting. Great job, Emma!
Hey Hartford Courant!
My name is Emma and I'm a sophomore at Rocky Hill High School. I play JV volleyball for my school and I am also a swing player for the varsity. I think that you guys should definitely cover our game next week because girls sports aren't normally advertised or heard about. And yet we are in the gym practicing our butts off for hours. Having our game covered would be really cool. I think that RHHS volleyball is improving tremendously and we are starting to become a major threat. So far as of today, we are undefeated at 5-0 for the varsity and 4-0 for the JV!
